What free agents should the Pack attack?

Interesting question for us dedicated green and gold fans. Some would say that they should pursue a defensive player to sure up there failing defense of last year. Or should they instead be looking for an offensive player to help a slightly aging offense. In my opinion, I think that the packers should target Albert Haynesworth of the Tennessee Titans. He is a high profile player that can make an instant impact on any football team, not to mention he is a leader. The knock on him however is that he has only played at a high level the last 2 years of his overall 5 year career. Not to mention that he exclaimed that he wants to be the highest paid defensive player in the league! Another major target could be Julius Peppers of the Carolina Panthers, he is also a high profile player and wants to get paid big money as well. He could make an instant impact on defense as well, but the pack already have to pro-bowl caliber players at the defensive end position! The big question is, what will the pack do in free agency to get better?

  1. I always was tought defense wins games. The packers would have finished a little better last year if they just could have stayed healty. Barnett went down, Harris was out for a bit, etc..it really hurt them. Now the 08 season was a bit bumpy for some green and gold fans but time will def. tell when A R #12 steps back on the field. I have always thought he was a decent qb behind Farve, but he tried to do much in to little time thier at the end of his first season as a starter. I really hope 09 is his year and him and Greg Jennins can start breaking some records. Cuz ya know # 85 fo the pack is simply # 1
